Reigning over the kelp forests, this god is imagined to be underwater, his kelpish beard waving gently in the current, backlit by the penetrating rays of the sun.
This original work was created one early summer evening at my Tacoma warehouse studio. The idea of a kelp god continues to haunt me, and hopefully this study will evolve into larger works.
